Question about Pre-Out Jacks
« on: 27 Jan 2004, 02:29 pm »
The manual for my Denon 3802 reads as follows:

Connecting the pre-out jacks
Use these jacks if you wish to connect external power amplifiers to increase the power of the front, center and surround sound channels or for connection to powered loudspeakers.

My ears tell me that the bass management system is in this path.  I would like to confirm that the signal that comes out of the pre-out jacks is the same signal that hits the Denon's internal amps with all bass management functionality active.  Is this correct?

Thanks
Jeff
