It’s been about a week since I brought my new Bryston BDP-1 home.
The sound is fantastic. To me the best way to describe the BDP-1 is that it is dead quiet. The noise floor is so low that it creates a black background that enables the program content to shine through; resulting in playback that sounds more dynamic. This is apparent even with Internet radio stations which are significantly better sounding than the computer based system it replaced.
Combined with the usual and expected excellent support from Bryston the BDP-1 is a winner
