Yup, got a blue SD 1100 for my wife's birthday this past summer. She loves it - easy to use, great pictures, and there's a few decent controls for me when I get it in my hands. Usually she won't let me have it and tells me to go get my Nikon D40 instead if I want to use something. There's a huge convenience factor difference between those two, for sure.

Yup, get a good sized SD card and an extra battery as well.

My wife's going to have the camera with her when she goes into town with my daughter to trick & treat with her friends. They should be home about dinner time or thereabouts. I'll be home from work about 6:30-7:00 and I'll be happy to let you take a look.
