Hi All,

In light of my recent acquisition (thanks Jerome!) I decided its time for me to give something back to you guys.

Louis has confirmed it's ok and I have picked a record.

I am giving away a mono 33rpm 200g copy of this one:

John Coltrane - Blue Train



It's one of favorites and I'm only giving it away as I just got the new Classic Records Clarity SV-P II.

It's been played maybe 20 times max and is practically mint, no scratches etc. I wash and vacuum my records religiously. Treated with LAST preservative too.

Conditions are that you must own or have ordered Omega's, own a TT and love Jazz.

To enter just post in this thread saying you're in and I'll let Random.org pick the winner by random on the 20th December. Entries close at mid day on the 19th December GMT.

I leave for the USA next Monday via Singapore and the UK and will post it either from the UK or when I get to the USA. Either way you should have it by Christmas

Can't thank you enough for your generosity!  I just sent you a PM.  Guess I need to clamber up to the attic to retrieve the Sony turntable.  Probably will need a new stylus but all the better with which to listen to Coltrane.

One of the reasons I like buying stuff from Louis and other sole proprietors is that you get to network with like-minded individuals who share the same passion and joy of discovery.  Folks such as Steve and Jerome remind me that sharing music in today's networked world is the global equivalent of standing on the corner in your neighborhood with friends and shooting the breeze about the latest sounds.  I grew up a child of the '50s where my world was circumscribed by a few blocks and my music defined by top 40 AM radio.  Now my world and my music are circumscribed by the globe, and I find the same generosity of spirit and sharing as I did when I lived in a tiny suburb of Washington, D.C.
