Hi all,

I am looking for the ACI Center channel speakers.  Ideally the XLC but not sure if ACI still sell it now ?    If someone has a used one that want to let go, please let me know..

How much is the XLC better over the Older ACI Essence center speaker ?  And in what aspects ?  How much of clearance will it needs from the wall and ground for optimum positioning ? 

I am currently using the Mirage MCSi center speaker (15 years old).  It is good in clarity, transparency and sound dispersion.  I am looking for more weight and imaging improvement.  If I replace this with the ACI XLC or Essence, what will be the improvement ?

We didn't have any centers available from about mid09 on . . . Both the XLC and Essence were designed to be free standing, i.e. stand mounted. Best if at least a foot or two out from wall. Ideally the same distance to listening seat as your mains.
