Recently scored this bunch of NOS 12au7/e80cc tubes.

Got them all off a lovely retiree matched and never used.

Wondering if the gold pin RTC e80cc is a herleen tube. Also the RCA black plates with D getter - box says 1953 but the tube actually states 1948. Were RCA making 12au7 then?

Appreciate any advice or thoughts anyone may have on any of the tubes. Btw the Westinghouse aren’t the OG ones. The mullards are the box plates. Ive not used any yet aside from the westinghouse which sound overly extended on all levels - too much. Looking to sell some if anyone is interested. Reach out

Cheers legends :)

Also all pairs are date/code matched. I only mentioned the Westinghouse as theyre the ones I initially purchased from him. Then he offered me the others

RT is Philips made tube, yes. Only Philips, Valvo and Tungsram made E80CC tubes!
