NFL channel is playing the It's a Football Life special featuring the pairing of Dick Butkus and Gayle Sayers on the Chicago Bears.  Taken in picks 3 and 4 of the 1965 draft thanks to a trade with Pittsburgh for their 1st round pick, likely the greatest draft in NFL history.  Yet neither ever played in a single playoff game in their career.  Butkus is widely nominated as meanest player in football, but in reality he was a ball of fun enjoying every bit of life.  An interviewer was going through a list of his most famous dirty plays and asked if he had spit on the hands of so and so center, he replied, "Nah, that's a lie, I spit on the ball".  A great documentary.
