Whats next on your speaker menu? Was this a short or long time compared to the other speakers youve owned? Are the Songtowers next?

I decided to switch to the Song Towers over the Mini Stratas + Ref 100 center channel for the following reasons:
1. Dispersion
The Song towers being MTM's will have a wider dispersion pattern than the Mini's. They should also perform better off-axis than the Mini's (remember, the Mini's were really designed for two channel).
2. Height
I will have seating at different heights and the Song towers are less finicky than the Mini's in this area. Playing with the Mini's, it is quite clear that changes in height have a pretty big impact on the sound.
3. Finish
Since the speakers are going behind a screen, I wanted to get something that was flat and black. The Song towers will be just that.
4. Sensitivity
I wanted to pick up a few db's over the Mini's.
5. Identical speakers
I decided that I wanted to get identical L/C/R speakers vs. L/R and a different center channel.
Overall I think the Mini Strata's are a very good speaker and well worth their asking price. I have not and won't be doing a direct comparison between the Mini Strata and the Salk Song Tower.
