This will be the program I use this weekend.

Step 1. Make refreshing beverage
Step 2. Turn off all non-essential electronics
Step 3. Have all talkers escorted out
Step 4. Remove all noisy pets
Step 5. Find music that fits your mood
Step 6. Turn on music source
Step 7. Turn on pre-amp/phono stage
Step 8. Turn on amp
Step 9. Press play/drop the needle
Step 10. Sit in favorite listening chair/couch
Step 11. Let your worries go and enjoy
Step 12. Repeat until desired results are reached  8)

As above, and put favorite CD on auto repeat.  Turn up to 11 so I can hear it in the yard.  Screw the neighbors!

Agree with all the above.
We all need to stop, hit the reset button, and restart on a new track from time to time. Honestly, I think this needs to be done at least every 3 months.

I'm grateful for this site, even though I am as guilty as anyone else for getting caught up in my own world from time to time. It's easy to do when you're just a person sitting at a computer by yourself. Sometimes worlds collide, causing others to go off-course. Pretty soon the whole thing just feels mucked up with tension. With regular "resets" I think everyone will do a better job of being upstanding community members and just have better manners towards each other in general.

I did not get the shakes, but can't say I didn't habitually try to hit audiocircle.

I clearly have a serious addiction. The first day was HELL. The next two days were not bad because my wife kept telling me to pack stuff plus I finally cleaned out the shed in back.

Welcome back!
