As some of you may remember, a year ago hurricane Ian (a Cat4 storm) made landfall right over my house/shop here in Cape Coral, Florida and did a fair bit of damage. Yesterday, hurricane Idalia blew by here about 100+ miles offshore and fortunately all we got was a sloppy and blustery day. No damage and no recovery this time. Meanwhile the packing and prepping for our move to Oregon continues. At this point it looks like October will end up being the actual move month but still have lots to do before I can set a firm date.
