I'm a proud owner of two of his great equipment stands.
Talked to him a few times over the years.
He was a true believer in his various theories.
He will be missed.....

Deeply saddened by this news. He was such a kind and gentle soul, and his room was so much fun at CAF every year. I have several of his recordings, soundstage demos all. I'm going to sit on the floor to listen to some of them in his honor today. Those that knew him will know why.

He produced some of the finest sounding CD's I've ever heard. Whether one liked his taste in music or not, he obviously had a great ear. Certainly one of audio's truly independent innovators. RIP Pierre.

Such a unique man. When still producing music and live performances, I spent a day with Pierre at his studio. Not certain what was more interesting; the space, his process or his audio system. He was filled with unique and interesting perspectives on all things. Memories not to be forgotten. Thank you.

Just read this, a great loss. The music he recorded was always interesting, and very well done. The site was still up a day or two ago, so the business seems to be still running, but the flow of new music recorded with his special approach may have ceased.

To hear him speak, or rather preach on combat aircraft was edge of your seat interesting.
