I'm seeking to provide affordable clean power to my gear.
My Dac uses already uses a purpose built LPS.
My files are on an external 4 tb HDD. I'll be adding a 2nd HDD soon.
I'm wondering if it's possible to power an external HDD via batteries? And, if so, what do recommend
specifically?
I've also read that an SSD might be better still, so I also might consider a 500 gb SSD and put my favorite songs on that SSD [I can't afford 4 tb of SSD space].
Alternatively, is an HD Plex unit most suited to this purpose?
Any suggestions are welcome.
Down the road I will be looking to power a music server and/or renderer.
