Never heard of em but they look like they have a good design.  I bet they would stand up to a Clearaudio.  Similar materials.  The premier eurolab table looks like it has a maxon motor.  (like the teres).

You might want to check out this article.

I called Hart Huschens at Audio Advancements and talked to him about this.  He is a great guy with a lot of knowledge and no pressure whatsoever.  I would suggest giving him a call.

Marble, I am glad that you bring up this thread.

First thing first, I think Amazon is one brand and Eurolab is another brand. But.... Amazon indeed source parts from the company who create the Eurolab.

The company is named Scheu and formed by Thomas Scheu in Germany.Eurolab is the name given by the US distributor of Scheu product.

You can read more about the company at www.scheu-analog.com (english) or www.scheu-analog.de (German)

I have recently ordered the Scheu Premier II with Double Plinth for both 9" and 12" arm, unheard! I have a Morch UP4 and DP6 waiting to be installed in this deck.

I hope to receive it by end of this week or early next week.

Will share my feeling with you guys.

I've auditioned the Model One at a dealer's home.  The system consisted of Morch tonearm, AQ MC cart retipped by VDH, a Vinyl One phono and Gill Signature amp.  Speakers were Cabasse.  The system sounded detailed and neutral, but I must admit for the money I expected more - much more (the table/arm/cart combo was over $6K - plus $2.5 for the V1).

Personally I feel that a Nottingham turntable/arm combo will achieve the same - if not better results (I can't comment on other 2k plus tables, since I have not owned any other tables in that price range) for less money.  I would take the V1 phono, though - outstanding machine.

Best Regards,

~Michael~

Out of curiosity, does anyone happen to know the price of the "Eurolab" kits?
