So, does it have to be 12 bars, A-A-B-A and I-IV-V? Or does it just have to feel like the Blues to be the Blues. Some are surprised to find out that Lady Day rarely sang the Blues, or did she?

"Can You Stand the Heat". Some cuts reminiscent of Albert Collins and the Ice Breakers.

Like my daddy use to say, "There's nothing new under the sun." I do love pre-war blues, but I'll be the first to admit, some of it is tough for an audiophile to listen to.

This album contains the funniest song ever recorded; My Handyman Ain't Handy Any More.

I defy anyone to listen to it and not burst out laughing.

And yes, the Blues can make you laugh along with making you cry.
