Up for sale is my MHDT Stockholm v2 tube dac. 192/24, R-2R Non-over sampling, no digital filtering. It has 4 inputs: usb, toslink, spidf, and BNC. Very good condition and it has had rock solid performance, no issues. I’m the 2nd owner and I’ve had it for 3 years. The tube and chip upgrades create an intoxicating natural organic sound.
Upgrades include:
-Chip upgrade to PCM56P [K-grade] which gave more sparkle on the top end and more bass extension.
-Tubes 2-Western Electric 396A, Bendix 6385 nos 1964 ($200 value for these three tubes)
-Pin socket adapter (to use 6922 tubes)
-National 6922/6DJ8 nos 1970’s tube low hours ($55 value)
The stock GE tube will be included as well as the stock chips. Will ship double boxed.
