Garage sale find this afternoon.

"Elemental", recorded in 1985(?) according to the liner notes, has astounding SQ and the performances are even better.   FIND A COPY!   :o

FIND A COPY!

I figured this thread would gain a bit more traction than it did. I've had a copy for years and like 'Elemental' very much. It's simpler, purer, but potent in a way - 'She Moved Through the Fair' overpowers me every time I hear it. Still, I actually prefer the richness of the fusion she had developed six years hence. I was blown away, as the saying goes, by 'The Visit' (actually, the first of her albums that I bought), as with the following pair of studio releases in the 90s. Still, anyone who appreciates her talents should not be without 'Elemental'.
