We had a Trinitron CRT. Those things weighed about the same as a Volkswagen. I can still remember the sound of it powering on.

I finally took our 27” to the recycling center a few years ago.  I would have paid someone $50 to do it for me!

I remember when Mom and Dad had a late 60s Zenith colour TV delivered  - what a beast. The matching stereo dwarfed the TV :o
