When I was building the Bugle I had some Belden #1585A Cat5 around. The cable uses Teflon for the individual conductor insulation and sheath. I thought it would make a great umbilical cable from the SLAs(one pair for each side of the SLAs). I have no idea if this cable would make a signifiant differance in sound quality, as I haven't tried anything else. If anyone would like to try this out, I will send you 6' of the Belden.
