Title: Keith Jarrett's health
Post by: lcrim on 27 Feb 2021, 05:06 pm
In 2008 he was inducted into the Down Beat Jazz Hall of Fame in the magazine's 73rd Annual Readers' Poll. Jarrett has been unable to perform since suffering a stroke in February 2018, and a second stroke in May 2018, which left him partially paralyzed and unable to play with his left hand.
While there are worse things happening in the world, this seems like a tragedy to me.

Oscar Peterson also had a similar prob but recovered and was able to play again at cost of 10 hours daily of training.
