 We do have balanced units but not in these pieces. Only the Purity Extreme, soon to be officially released, will be equipped with balanced inputs and outputs.

 I have a few other neat ideas in mind as well with some beautiful Japanese Tamo Ash I just came across .

Below is another custom BellaMax that is currently being built and up for grabs. The main part of the chassis is made of 3/4" solid Maple. The non-removable top is 3/4" Baltic Birch Ply. The veneer is some beautiful Japanese Tamo Ash real wood veneer. Metalized Poly capacitors throughout the power supply, DACT stepped attenuator, Grayhill source selector. Knobs will be brushed aluminum. Rear panel gain switch allowing for either 22dB or 16dB output. the unit will have 4 sets of line level inputs and 2 sets of line level outputs. This piece was designed with two full aluminum sheets to better help reduce interference. The tubes and circuitry are mounted on the underside of the top piece and the removable bottom piece allows access to the internals.

As shown below, there is not yet any clear coat.

Now we have a few more coats of urethane and some knobs installed. The knobs are solid Macassar Ebony but the purchaser of this BellaMax will their choice of just about any hardwood we can get our hands on.

I am also working on another piece for a customer that is using a 1" thick Macassar Ebony front panel with Maple over the rest of the chassis. The front panel will have a window in front showing the tubes. It is a remote volume unit as well. This piece will also have the "PhonoMax" phono stage built in.

The unit below is being custom built for as customer and AC member that is upgrading to the BellaMax from the Bella L/P. The front panel is 1" thick solid Macassar Ebony with Maple veneer over Baltic Birch for the rest of the chassis. The clear extruded acrylic front window (shown below with protective film) will be a view to two of the 12AU7 vacuum tube for the analog stage. Within the chassis there are also two more tubes for the built in "PhonoMax" phono stage. Not yet shown are the two control knobs that will be used for the power switch and source selection. Volume will be handled by a custom remote control circuit. This is the last piece to be built with the removable hinged top.
