I hope I didn't spook you too badly. I only heard a stereo Zen, not a pair used as mono-blocks. They will likely be much better as the additional power will be useful with the De Capos. Remember, a single Zen select is only 1.8 watts/channel at best! Also, a stereo Zen likes a 2 ohm load best, but a mono-block setup may be different.
I do know that there are folks over at the Decware site that use De Capos with Zen amps and like the results. But, my experience with a single Zen and it's 1.8 watts showed me that a speaker built specifically for the unique design of the Zen, worked best.
