Bang and Olufsen
« on: 5 Feb 2024, 09:12 am »
My name is Eric Schwarzenbach and I am looking for someone who can repair a B&O stereo system that is 30 years old. I am looking for someone in the Cape Town area. Please contact me through this forum or e-mail me at egschwarzenbach@live.com. I know that a company called Albertronics in Cape Town used to repair B&O equipment. The owners name is Shamil Albertus, and I am looking to get in touch with him. Thank you.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Welcome!

Saw my first B&O gear in the 70's.  Loved the receivers, thought they were neat as they were narrow enough to fit on a bookcase and lacked an "on" button.  Never liked the dry sound of their loudspeakers though.  College roommate had one of their early tangential tracking turntables but didn't like the dry sound of their cartridges which you had to use.  Later on they became too 'designer' looking and expensive for me.
