Plinth for Garrard 301
« on: 19 Dec 2006, 05:20 am »
I have recently bought a Garrard 301 with a Grace G 545 arm. It came with a mdf and plywood plinth. However there's still some rumble. I have seen a few modified plinth on the various websites and also the one made by the late Terry Cane (still shocked over his passing). Any suggestion. Is open plinth better than the boxed type?

I recently bought a 401, and putting it into a plinth will be my next project.

I have found the following links to be interesting:

And a schematic for a power supply:

I really like some of these skeleton plinth designs.
