Today I will visit an acquaintance who's selling a vintage Dual turntable, does anyone know which models to look for and their rough values, and which models ought to be avoided?

This may be too late, but I like the 1000 series and 1200 series, especially the 1019 and the 1229.  There are some other nice ones, like the CS5000.  These all sell for at least $200, at times, but there are many deals where people don't know they're worth that.
