First time membership to any forum related to audio.
My name is Jeremy and I have been interested in good music and audio since I can remember but only in the last 7 years started my journey more seriously in home audio. Father played jazz three nights a week in a local high end hotel (South Africa) so the appreciation for good sound started waay back.
7 years ago decided to start somewhere and purchased used Klipsch bookshelf speakers and receiver for home and soon realized it was hopeless as I couldn't shake the memory of good sound I had heard in the past.
Starting building a workshop system (woodworking studio) where i spend most of my time working, and with the help of a friend who owned a high end store on Broadway in Vancouver put together a reasonable system. Bryston 3B, JBL 4311, Schiit Freya, Schiit Bifrost.
Now at home 6 years later I have a work in process with quite a nice system, always improving and realize that my obsession with improvement is far from unique.
