Hi all, I own a pair of Tannoy monitor gold 15" drivers that I would like to use OB. They have been packed away for a long time but I am now ready to build something. I have heard these sound fabulous in very large boxes but not heard them open baffle, which is what I prefer.

Lots of research suggests a narrow or perhaps even no baffle. Can anybody recommend a good modeling program or any advice regarding this. I understand that with a low Qts they will not produce any useful bass so I intend augmenting the bass with OB servo subs.

I am currently listening to Hawthorne Silver Iris which are cheap and cheerful and good value but wish to improve --- a lot.

Hi JohnR, thanks for that. Lots there to keep me busy.

 Before he moved and lost contact I heard a friends clone of a PureAudioProject model. He used 15" 18Sound drivers above and below a 15" SEOS waveguide. I was very impressed. I sat listening and thinking  'I gotta do something like this' It is not often that I find the sound going round in my head for days afterwards.
