Here are some pictures of the amplifier that I built for Noa.

Internally, it is a dual mono Hypex UcD400, similar to CIAudio's D200.  Each channel has its own 625VA transformer, and 20,000uF of capacitance.  It has switchable inputs for balanced and SE.  IMO forget a preamplifier with HT pass through, just switch it at the amplifier, run SE from your processor and balanced from your preamp.

The power LED is a ring lit LED around the power button on the front.  The status LED's are flush with the front panel and have a very soft glow.

As you can see in the last picture, the location of the power cord is customizable, center left or right. 

The binding posts are raised up rather high so that when placed on the floor, or a deep shelf, spades and stiffer wires can easily come in from below.

I will be adding this to the website within the next few days, I am still thinking of names :).
