I had a great time at this year's RMAF (my very first audiophile event, in fact) and decided to create a photo album on my personal blog. For those interested, please feel free to visit:
http://estebanmedaglia.blogspot.com/ (http://estebanmedaglia.blogspot.com/)
Please click on each image to enlarge them. They are about 1100 pixels wide, so they might take a little bit to load. I will be adding about 160 additional photos throughout the week, so everybody's more than welcomed to keep visiting the page in the next few days. In the meantime, you can see some previews below. Hope you like them!

Thank you all for the very nice words! Glad you are enjoying these. I used an entry-level Canon Rebel T1i with the stock 18-55mm lens. Nothing fancy, but I find that the key is to avoid the flash like the plague and take advantage of the available natural light. I used Photoshop CS4 for some minor color saturation re-touching, to add the black borders, and to re-frame the images in a wider aspect ratio, for a more "panoramic" and dramatic effect.
Please feel free to keep visiting the link above. :) Just posted plenty more at my blog. Still have lots to go!

I like the natural light too and love your closeups. The plasma tweeter eluded me, I would have needed a tripod to get that shot. I waited until the rooms cleared out a little then moved a chair to the best spot and used the chair back as a tripod to steady my Canon G11.
I'll keep checking your blog, you are doing great!

Amazing how some folks just have an "eye" for pictures. Talent I certainly don't have.
Love the shot with what appears to be all of the PrimaLuna gear. Don't think I've seen any sound reports from that room unfortunately........

Hi eclein. That shouldn't be a problem. Actually, have you tried right-clicking on the images at the blog, as they are now? I noticed Google compresses them a little bit during the upload process, so the quality is not the best, but the resolution is pretty high (around 1100 horizontal lines) so that shouldn't be too bad for a normal wallpaper. If I have some free time next weekend I'll try to upload 5 or so in their original (non-compressed) quality to a server and I'll share the link. Thanks for the request. I suppose that's the best compliment one can hope to receive!

Try this, in the meantime:
click on any one of the images. That will open it in a "pop out" window. Once there, right click and select "open image in new tab". That should take you to a new tab with the original (if slightly compressed) 1100 X 800 (or so) image. Let me know if that works for now.
