"Date Night"

My wife's movie choice from BB this weekend was "Date Night" starring Steve Carell, Tina Fey with Mark Wahlberg.  The movie is about a typical couple from New Jersey that get mistaken for crooks while on date night for dinner in Manhatten.  I felt the movie made no attempt at being a plausible story but Tina Fey and Steve Carell really seemed like a natural couple.  This movie was good, mindless entertainment even though some parts were way over the top.  My rating 3.5 out of 5 stars and good for some laughs.

I believe I saw some Meridian gear in the scene where Steve Carell's character is talking with his friend in his bachelor pad / den.

Funniest chase scene I ever saw.

I think you have to go back to 1940, W. C. Fields in The Bank Dick, to rival that.
