It all depends on the pre-amp, amps and the subwoofer you're using. If you using a pre-amp with a second set of line outs, I'd simply do line level hookup to the sub. If you're attempting speaker level hookup, always best to consult the amp and subwoofer manufacturers for best advice. This especially if your mono amps are class d.

Check if your mono amp allow this kind of connection, I can say in advance the British Musical Fidelity E3 or E5 dont like and will explode itself.

Are you using the XLR outputs on the HPA4 to the JC1s?
If you can use both XLR and RCA outputs simply use the RCA outputs to the subwoofer.

If you want to run speaker wire there are several ways.
Wire to sub and then to speakers, wire to speakers and then to sub, 2 wires from JC1, one to speakers and one to sub.

Do you have room for another subwoofer?
Run one from left channel and the other from the right channel.

Thank you all for your help,

- I'm going to first try to run the 2nd output line level from the preamp to the sub first. If that doesn't work, I'll run from amps to spekers-sub.
- Unfortunately, the room I have is limited, but makes sense to have two one sub per monoblock.

Thanks again

When I had the HPA4, I ran the XLR output into the Benchmark AHB2, and the RCA output into my SB3000. Worked perfectly.
