Title: Digital Decoding Engine v3.0 w/mod need repair info
Post by: Doublej on 25 Mar 2022, 07:44 pm
I was given a Digital Decoding Engine v3.0 with Power Station 3 power supply. On the back is a piece of masking tape that says Channel Isles Mod May 1997.

It lights up but I can't get  any output. I am using the Digital 2 input on it. When I opened the unit to see if there was anything obviously wrong with it I found that one end of a thin black wire has broken off. Does anyone know where it needs to be resoldered on the board?

It is circled in yellow at the bottom left of the board.

Sorry but I do not have info on the wire... it was part of the original circuit (not part of our mod package).
