Transparent Reference speaker and balenced interconnect, in the latest addition. Stunningly accurate and a huge soundstage than extends beyond the speakers

Van Den Hul XLR and speaker cables work really well in my system.

The Jubilee cable between the BCD 1 and BP 25 had the most impact!

I peaked on the VDH website.  Holy cow there are many models of cable.  Which speaker wire and IC's are you using in your Bryston system?

Any Bryston folks using Harmonic Technology XLR or speaker wire?  A reputable Bryston dealer suggested I consider Magic II XLR's and Pro 9 Reference SE speaker wire.

Bryston cables, balanced that is. It makes sense as the synergy is there in spades. Really no need to look further IMO.  :duh:

I do not. Not yet anyway.  With our recent all Bryston system demo the Bryston cables inserting other cables destroyed the synergy.

Very recently discovered that Best Buy sells Audioquest.  My local Audioquest dealer closed up shop this year, so I was very pleased to find that BB is selling it.  I wanted to pick up some relatively inexpensive speaker wire to hold me over for a short while.  30-day return policy.  Nice.

Tried a few different Audioquest speaker cables:  Rocket 33 Biwired and Type 4.  The Rocket 33 Biwire was a bit more expensive than the Type 4.  Rocket/Bryston was a terrible combination- harsh, edgy, grainy and lean.  For the money, Type 4/Bryston brought the smile back to my face- full bodied, relatively balanced, punchy, nice smooth vocal and instrumental.

A few months back, an Audioquest sales guy suggested something like Biwire Rocket 88 for my Bryston system.  Haven't had a chance to try it yet .

:thumb: to Kimber Hero XLR (as inspired by Elizabeth).  Currently trying it between DAC-Pre and Pre-Amp.  At least to my ears, a definite improvement over Audioquest King Cobra XLR.

the best cable is the one to nowhere. The pigtail tweak really fixed problems I never knew I had.
Added a short 6" pigtail wire to the negative terminals of my Bryston amp speaker terminals.
My alternate take on this tweak had me add a 1" long 1/2 inch diameter ferrite at the end by stripping about five inches of the end and wrapping the bare wire through the hole in the ferrite and twisting it tight to make a solid connection to the ferrite. Then wrapping the ferrite wit hteflon tape. (the inches of wire to connect the ferrite is in addition to the 6" of wire from the five way binding post.
I also did a few for the A/C from the neutral prong in the recepticals.
The pigtail tweak added a new clariity and bass  response, with better dymnamics.
The best wire to nowhere I have tried.
My real cables are:
Kimber Hero for pre to amp 7 meters, and other stuff.
Kimber 8TC biwired speaker cables
Kimber KCAG for some stuff.
Mark Levinson wire with Vampire Tiffany style RCAs for most digital sources
IEC cords are all Pangea Power cords
I also use several Power conditioners.
