I'm sorry to have not made myself clearer. I haven't really watched network TV in probably 25 years or since the end of Seinfield. Doesn't matter if the show is crap, this is about the theme. What about that theme stands out to you? For example, I never cared for the show Hawaii 5-0, but the theme song still stands out.
The point of this thread is where the TV show or movie intro hypes you up for what is coming. Most all these suggestions do that, or at least do that to the poster. Even though it isn't a great show, it has it's moments. And, Killing Joke - "Eighties" is a great song, a great 80s song, even if they are just using a cover for the TV show.

It isn't overplayed like half of the music played on any classic hits radio station. That show just uses a cover version. Same can be said about the original "Charmed" series using a cover of "How Soon Is Now" by the Smiths.

I don't watch modern TV, except for one or two things. They remade "Night Court", and it is not the same as the original. Having "Dan Fielding" on the show (or checking out "The Big Bang Theory's - Bernadette") is the only thing having me even consider tuning it in. Even then, if I miss it, I don't care. Watching "Call Me Kat" ("The Big Bang Theory's - Amy") is more interesting than the "Night Court" remake.
I have never been big on "Seinfeld, nor even "Friends". I would rather watch "Gilmore Girls" (even though, I didn't watch it at first).
