Anybody looking to try a tube pre in their Bryston rig should consider this. At the price point its very nice. I own Response Audio Max bella and its has nice synergy. This i am sure would be very close.

At $1100 new its very reasonable

Can't do that, Werd. I have a radon leak in the basement and granite countertops from a shady manufacturer. Any tube equipment in my house sounds like a Geiger Muller counter. The soundstage is literally filled with fireworks, I can distinctly hear the decay of each and every radionuclide.

:o

So if anyone thinks to "stabilize" their tube stuff by placing it on granite supports.... think twice.....

Glad to hear you are enjoying your BellaMax (early Purity One) preamp with your Bryston. Thank you for taking the time to share your combination.
