Can someone explain why this table sounds so good?
It seems to defy the laws of physics. First set one up in the late '80s - blew everyone's mind, couldn't keep them in stock although I didn't know how many
were being made.
People get scared when an item is so different. Haven't heard one since the Classic. Wizard of Oz.

Brilliant engineering...... Simplistic execution.

No bearings.

I suppose that could be part of it but the spindle does still come into contact with the housing, or are you referring to the lack of bearing in the tonearm?
-
Both. Everything rides or slides in goo.
Like all of the best ideas it's so simple and clever you can't believe it.
