Hi, just wanna archive my cd collection as BIT perfect as possible, will these work?
-
Really, Nobody?
-
Hi wplash
I use the BIT with my BDP-3 and it works great - I will try it with the Pi this weekend and let you know. The Pi is not as powerful as the BDP-2 so it may be on the slow side when ripping.

Thanks James for looking into this. I myself would like the BOT to try with my Pi with some CD's if it works.
-
Cool ,Thanks!

OK I ripped about 10 CD's and no issues.
Other than I would recommend in the Ripping menue in Manic Moose set it up like this:

The 'Disable verification' saves a lot of rip time - takes about 4 minutes per CD.

Think I know someone who will be buying a silver one. How do cds sound through it into the BDA-3? That's the real reason I want it. After you ripped a cd did it automatically store it in the same folder as the artist that's already sitting on the Pi

You can only use it with the BDP not the BDA3.

Hi
You can but it has to be connected to the BDP-2 then it is outputted to the DAC. So when you are listening to a CD you are hearing it from memory on the BDP.

Yes, is your BDP1 not working?

My BDP-1 is working great.
I was reading the questions about support for BOT-1 on the BDP-Pi and just wanted to ask if the BDP-1 was still supported with the BOT-1.
