AC Newbie

Hi all,

I'm a new-ish member to AC and became aware of the site thanks to Danny Richie.

I'm looking very seriously at the X-Static kit (with upgrades of course :) and also wanting to explore the idea of building a chip amp to go with.

I've dabbled with audio gear for 15+ years, and have had the good fortune (or maybe it's been a curse) to hear systems that range from $100 to $100,000.  Such a fun hobby and hoping to learn how to be more resourceful here at AC.

Thanks and looking forward to getting to know some of you.

Ryan

Hi, Ryan.

Did you ever track down anyone in the greater Portland area who owns GR Research speakers? There may still be a couple wandering around, but I haven't checked in a couple years.

I'm trying to move to Vancouver, WA (if I can sell my old home in Corvallis!).
