This particular Basis utilizes the Toroidal transformer where the regular production run will run two separate transformers. One each for the B+ and filament supplies. Regualr production Basis Standard linestages will sell for $999 and come standard in a single chassis rather than the split chassis design. The Koa unit above is normally $1,495.
