Title: Groneberg Power cord repair.
Post by: LesterSleepsIn on 29 Jun 2020, 06:51 pm
Hi Klaus,
As per your instructions, I was able to reattach the plug end to one of the power cords but I failed to do so with the second, one screw just doesn't tighten down enough to secure the wire. So I took it to a local audio tech and he found the same, i.e., the screw doesn’t the secure the wire. Weird, since everything worked fine on the first.

Before I send it back for repair, is there something else we should try doing?

Cheers and hope all is well and that you and yours are staying safe.

So, I didn’t hear back so should I just mail back to you for repair or replacement? If so, is this the current address:
6731 West 79th St., Indianapolis, IN 46278

The Groneberg ICs, speaker cables and the 2nd power cord all work fine. No complaints. Don’t know why this power cord failed.
