Title: Jet Sprints
Post by: Peter J on 29 Aug 2022, 06:42 pm
What's the most thrilling sport nobody's ever heard of? In my book, it'd be Jet Sprinting. It's been around in the USA for some time, ebbing and flowing in popularity. We just got back from a trip to St. John, WA. A fantastic venue, great weather and racing that raises goose bumps on me every time...Cheryl too!

This was the event. The apparent fastest boat at event had an unfortunate "out of water experience" which ended their day. Go to 4:29:00 to have a look.

Sprint boats are super fun to watch.  :thumb: :thumb: There used to be a venue in Woodland, WA before the noise complaints shut them down. It ran for a few years and was always a fun afternoon. At the heart of it, it's a fairly cheap sport to get into, but definitely goes overkill real quick.
