I am not in any rush to receive the amplifier, but wanted to let you know that it has not arrived yet. Given the fact that it has been nearly two weeks, you may want to check the tracking number to make sure it hasn't hit a problem with whomever the courier is.

I was considering those speakers but end up giving away some of my stuff as a trade value offer towards gear that interest me.
Should end up with few new toys in a week or two.

early next week you will have new toy to play as well.
just give it some play time before serious evaluation.

Sorry for the delay in response--was just checking back to this thread to see if there was a shipping update as I hadn't received the TWO.

To answer your question (and hopefully not derail the thread) The Souls are rocking my world! I've heard speakers costing several multiples of their retail pricing, but am not sure I've ever enjoyed a pair more. They are completely versatile for any type of music I'm in the mood for deliver on the promise of single driver coherence and purity that led me to buy my previous Abbys.

I was supposed to audition a couple other pairs of speakers during my 60 day in home trial on these, but frankly--I don't care to. These are delivering up on the fun in a very big way for me. They are being driven by a First Watt F1 which does an exceptional job of controlling the drivers with great PRaT--I'm a little curious though about other types of amps in hopes of retaining this control while adding a little more texture and tonal denisity. I am very interested to see how the Virtue will do.
