I live in UK and have just purchased the above for £267 in the US it would probably be the same price in $.
Its a PA amplifier so it has fans but they are variable speed and in use for home hi fi it is very quiet, also no hum or hiss in my system and it sounds great. Its a class AB and provides 300 watts per channel so plenty of power for a low price.
