Title: Crossover point for NX-Series
Post by: BrandonB on 28 Mar 2024, 08:51 pm
If you have an NX-Series speaker where are you crossing it over to the subwoofer and are you using a HI-pass filter?  Just checking out what everyone is doing.

Hi Brandon,
I currently am high passing my nx-studios and am messing around with the crossover point. I accidentally undervalued what I needed so right now they're crossing a little over 100hz to my stereo subs. I'll be adjusting that down to hopefully cross at 75 or so. In my small room the studios play to about 40-50hz when left full range even though specs say they only play to 70. Hope that helps!

I’m using a sublime acoustic active crossover. 80 Hz.

NX studios and a couple of rythmik subs

Are they the sealed or open baffle subs? If sealed, how do they sound?

One is sealed, the other ported - with the port plugged. They sound ok, but I’m upgrading to a pair of double troubles soon. Just finished the flat packs.
