Title: Need service tech for HK receiver

Just picked up a Harman Kardon 820 receiver that needs help. Could anyone suggest a service tech to restore the HK? I have not fired it up yet, but would prefer it would be in the hands of an experienced tech. Thanks, John

Where are you located?  I have a great tech in South Jersey, Audiotronics in Cherry Hill, NJ.  Frank is a miracle worker with my vintage and not so vintage gear.  I've never asked him for a quote and have never been more pleased with the work and pricing.

Colorado. Does he do tubes as well as solid state?

I don't have tubes so I can't say for sure, but I believe he does.  I would suggest a phone call, 856-667-0616.  He opens at 10am EDT.
