Gk-1 construction question
« on: 27 Jul 2003, 07:53 pm »
Well, I have finally started assemblyof my GK-1 that I have had sitting on a shelf for the last 6 months or so.  I am only on step 2 and have allready encountered a problem! A minor porblem to be sure but on step 2 :?   The instructions state that there are a total of 20 pcb pins - 10 for each channel. However the photographs show that there are 12 per channel.  The list under step two does not mention the 0, 150vac input but the picture shows pins in these holes :?:

RoyC,

Thank you for your post.

Yes, there are 10 pins on each channel.

However, there are three ground pins, but only two ground pins are fitted to each channel.  The missing pin is just to the right of the LINK beneath C8.  This need not be fitted as the other two - one below R2 and the other to the left of C19 under R17 - are quite enough.

I would be interested to hear of your other problems, but perhaps if you emailed me privately.  The instructions are very comprehensive.

I trust this is helpful,

Cheers,

Hugh
