Eico HF-81 Restoration options

Hello,

I am interested in having my Eico HF-81 restored / improved. Does any one have any direct experience with having a service like this done?

The amp is working and i use it daily. But I'd want to have the whole unit serviced, new speaker and rca jacks, clean and polish. I'd also be interested in having the phono stage upgrade if possible.

Im in Vancouver but not afraid to ship the unit.

There is a very knowledgeable Eico group on Yahoo. Go to http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/eico/. You can find out everything you need to know about your HF-81.

Those guys are true Eico fanatics.  That's a nice little amp you've got there.  I used a pair of HF12s for a while- the mono version of the HF81.  They were very easy to listen to.
