Unifield 2 to Unifield 3 ?
« on: 21 Dec 2013, 12:12 am »
I own a pair of Unifield 2 and was thinking of upgrading to Unifield 3 mkII.  Problem is it a worthwhile upgrade meaning is there a great sound difference between the two. I have tried different floorstanding speaker but all fail miserably in my listening room (5m x3m), boomy bass, soundstage and imaging are just awful where as all the bookshelf speakers just sound wonderful. The Unifield 3 speaker looks like a floorstanding speaker and I quite worried in this respect. I can only placed the speaker 0.5m away from front wall and 1m from sidewall. Hoping to get some opinion in this forum.

Hello Rontth,

we have them all, the Ones, Two and Three and put them side by side.
The Unifield-Line is designed for little space.
The U3 is a small 'bookshelf' with a passive sub and can act very musical in your room.
The sub can also easy be tuned in your room.

All the best and have a happy and musical Christmas.
