So many tweaks offered in the fuse department. $200 for a Blue' fuse.. Folks digging into their equipment to swap boutique fuses...
What is Bryston's stand on them? Do the break the warranty?
Not planning on using any. just curoius.
The only place i had used aftermarket fuses were in my former Magnepan 3.6 speakers.

Hi Liz,

As long as the 'MOD' does not cause the failure the warranty stands.

Thank you James. I am still pretty skeptical about aftermarket chassis rail fuses...
Partly due to the pita of installing them. Then the fact they are not really regulated or tested...
I have a few bits of kit with old fashioned on the back panel fuse. I may try one there (ARC Sp-15)

Yup. I won't put unregistered boutique fuses in my gear, particularly power amps. Fuses are there for safety reasons. Furutech fuses are registered. There may be others out there, but Furutech is the only one I'm aware of. :thumb:
