Title: W/F measuremts WTA
Post by: tipatina on 6 Feb 2024, 09:40 pm
I have WTL Amadeus Mk 2 that I purchased in 2014. I have used the RPM app to measure speed and W/F. For the W/F measurement, I get 0.28-.0.38%. This seems high. I make my own belts using the recommended jig. I use the Radio Shack wall wart as recommended on this forum.-the supplied wall wart produced a buzz. Would DPS help with this?

My MK2 is about the same age is yours and was having motor issues, I would contact Mike Pranka, he had to replace mine. Does your speed adjustment work on turntable?

Thanks, will contact him. My speed adjustment works fine.

Mike Pranka was most helpful here. I ended up sending my table and he figured out that the capstan where the belt/string goes had been pushed down and was making intermittent contact with the top surface of the table. He adjusted this and it measured fine. The table is back in my system working well. The W/F measured a little better but not sure I truly trust the RPM phone app for w/f.
