The best description of "Get Duked!" is exuberant. Writer and director Ninian Doff has potential based on his first feature length movie. Filmed in the Scottish highlands, this action comedy film is a madcap race for survival along with a little social commentary and filled with goofball characters.
"Get Duked!" is a crazy mashup of orienteering, stoner juvenile delinquents, Hip-Hop music with subversive lyrics, aristocrats, hunting, farmers and psychedelic rabbit turds. The early Monthy Python anything goes type of skits and Bill & Ted movies are obvious influences.
You will find yourself cheering on the boys all through the film.
Turning on the subtitles helps to understand the thick United Kingdom accents and you get the song lyrics too.
